RuPaul and “Drag Race” Judges Make The Holiday Brighter (And Gayer) For LA’s Homeless Youth
Thanksgiving and the holiday season is especially tough for the homeless. And with approximately 40 percent of homeless youth being LGBT , LGBT community centers, like the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, are often the only places they can turn to for a warm meal. This year, RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Santino Rice of the wildly popular “RuPaul’s Drag Race” made a surprise visit at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, joining other volunteers who helped make this Thanksgiving a memorable (and fierce) one!
